This post is financed by the Support Account for Peacekeeping Operations. Appointment or assignment against this position is for an initial period of one year. This position is located in Treasury in the Financial Risk Management Service (FRMS), Finance Division (FD), Office of Programme Planning Finance and Budget (OPPFB), Department of Management Strategy, Policy and Compliance (DMSPC). The Incumbent reports to the Chief of the Investments Section.
工作內(nèi)容
Under the general direction of the Chief of the Investment Section, the incumbent performs the following duties and responsibilities:
1. Manages and executes fixed income, money market and equity investments in USD, EUR and CHF with approved counterparties according the Investment Guidelines;
2. Responsible for daily cash requirements for liquidity of global investment pool participants;
3. Monitors currency exposures incorporating cash flow forecasting and executes foreign exchange transactions in major and exotic currencies to fund global operations;
4. Prepares and executes foreign exchange hedging program and budget rate setting;
5. Maintains bank/broker-dealer relationships and stays up-to-date on relevant global market issues and events which may affect the markets covered;
6. Monitors counterparty risk and rating changes.

專業(yè)要求
Advanced University Degree (Master's Degree or equivalent) in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. A first level university degree in combination with two years relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or equivalent from another recognized international finance institution is desirable.
工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)
A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible work experience in fixed income portfolio management of which at least two years is with an international bank or a large international organization with large portfolio of assets under management is required. Practical experience in equity investing and foreign exchange is desirable. Practical experience in ISDA Master Agreement negotiation is desirable. Practical experience in credit and risk analysis is desirable.
語言要求
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another UN language is an advantage.
