The position is located in the Development and Integration team, SAP Development, Technical integration architecture, Fiori/Apps, SolMan, Delivery Team of the ERP/Umoja project in the Department of Management Strategy, Policy and Compliance in New York. The Information Systems Officer will report to the Senior SAP Analyst.

工作內(nèi)容
The scope of the work supports the ongoing implementations of the ERP Project of SAP SolMan and SAL ALM [Application Lifecycle Management]. which enable processes, tools, best practices and services to manage SAP and non-SAP solutions throughout the complete application lifecycle of the solution implementation of Umoja.
Under the guidance of the Senior SAP Analyst, the Information Systems Officer will be responsible for the following duties:
1. End-to-end ALM with technical, architecture and methodology implementation in close
cooperation with the BASIS and systems engineering team:
- Implement the further development of the suite of tools of SAP Solution Manager as per the ERP's strategy roadmap and timelines in connection with the overall architecture and SLD strategy of the Umoja solution, particularly concerning SAP ECC, BW, CRM, SRM, Enterprise portal, SAP Solution Manager and BI.
- Lead the design, testing and implementation of the ALM functionalities into the SAP Solution Manager [e.g., ChaRM, ITSM, E2E monitoring; and many more].
- Review and address project requirements and identify gaps in the functionality of the Solution Manager application in respect of both the project management and the monitoring areas.
- Advise on enhancements to relevant SAP systems, environments and platforms in order to assure optimal use of SAP SolMan.
- Prepare technical and user documentation in respect of the tool and interdependent connections with the rest of SAP system/applications of the Umoja solution landscape.
- Issue training materials and detailed technical presentations in the overall context of building up SolMan expertise across the Project, including via knowledge transfer.
2. Support general IT planning in respect of development, including technology roadmaps and
technical support to deployment:
- Develop IT plans and coordinates execution of those plans to ensure proper implementations of enhancements and upgrades, from design to testing and dress rehearsals to migrations, etc.
- Implement an approach for overall governance of all FRICEWs across the Umoja system into a single repository using SolDoc, and BPMN processes with Test Suite Integration.
- Assist Functional Teams and the ERP's Release Manager in respect of IT planning using Solution Manager's IT planning capabilities.
- Plan and Execute the migration of Rapport-based tools into Solution Manager tools (ChaRM, ITSM, SolDoc, Test Suite and others).
3. Methodology:
- Recommend SAP best practices across the project for Application Lifecycle Management,
ensuring proper implementations of Releases and Upgrades.
- Implement application SAP standards and methodology for all development and architectural aspects of Umoja with a clear focus on Best Practices and minimizing changes to standard SAP functionality.
- Review requirements for each of Umoja's projects and identify gaps in the functionality of the Solution Manager application in respect of methodology/SAP standards as well as in respect of both project management and monitoring.
- Advise on enhancements to SAP platforms to assure optimal use of SAP SolMan;
- Prepare technical and user documentation in respect of the tool and interdependent
connections with system and application development or maintenance.
4. Other duties as required.

Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent degree) in computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics or related field. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. SAP Certification on SolMan, ALM is desirable.
工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in planning, design, development, implementation and maintenance of SAP systems is required.
Said 5 years of experience shall include experience in the following SAP technical areas:
- Solution Manager ChaRM Configuration
- Application Lifecycle Management Configuration using Solution Manager
- Configuring Test Suite within SolMan
- Implementing and executing IT Plans for new releases and enhancements using PPM module within Solution Manager
- Provide support to the projects/teams on SAP Transports and Tools, including SAP Solution Manager Quality Gate Management (QGM), Change Request Management (ChaRM), CTS+ and TMS.
SAP Public Sector experience is required.

English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this position, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language is an advantage.
